Claire as a speaker
Claire Westwood, motivational and inspirational speaker and trainer
I’ve been a nurse for many years, combining my health care career with that of a coach, speaker and writer whilst taking time out to learn, explore and have fun!
Trained in comedy, drama, singing and improv, I love being on stage in front of people, inspiring and motivating them.
My Speaking Experience
My speaking experience includes presenting to groups of professionals in a training capacity, as well as for large conferences, including:
- Nursing in Practice
- RCN leadership and Nurse Consultant conferences
- RCN Jobs Fair
- The Association of Nurse Prescribers

Evaluations of my speaking rate me 4 or 5 out of 5 from 100% of conference attendees. Feedback from conferences and traning events include:

Coaching
I trained as a coach initially with the Coaching Academy, graduating with Distinction in 2004. Since then I’ve trained in NLP and also undertaken advanced personal development training, presentation skills training and many more courses via the Christopher Howard Leadership and Coaching Academy. I’m now a Masters Results coach and NLP Practitioner.
I’m also the author of ‘The happynurses Guide to Creating a Balanced Life – the 12-week coaching plan for busy nurses’ which was published in June 2009, and I write content for many websites and also books and journals.
